Join us in embracing the darkening skies and winter season with a mid-winter evening lights bike ride, followed by the warmth of a drink at a friendly pub ![]()
We’ll meet at the Botanical gardens main gate with our lit-up bikes, and we’ll also have a few magical led light systems to lend for your bike if you’d like to really shine! From here, we’ll casually wind our way through the city streets in all our lit-up glory, before ending up at the Steamer Basin pub for a sociable drink. Open to all ages and abilities, it’s not a race, it’s a celebration of the winter season!

If you’d like to attach one of our light systems to your bike (we’ll have approx 8 available), they can be attached via zip-ties and will just require providing a normal portable battery pack.
