It was good! Great to see @ruth.barton there flying the flag for SPOKES Dunedin.
Great to talk with David Clark (ex MP and now Registrar at University of Otago), our DCC colleagues, and the uni’s active transport enthusiasts (and lots of other awesome cycling interested people).
We all agreed that it would be great to be more connected for events like this, so that we can co-ordinate more effectively.

I did. Got a coffee and free keep cup, got my derraillieur sorted, helped out by putting a tube in the tyre of a new chums bike and a nice woman told me my 8 yr old helmet wasnt any good anymore and gave me a new one. Thanks to all involved and the DCC.

Seriously though, I second more coordination with the DCC and other organisations. I will definitely try to make it to future events like this, especially as the time of day they are held at suits me better than some of the hardcore early starts!
