Passionate family cyclist, mountain biker, and cycle commuter. I have been increasingly involved with cycle advocacy over the last few years, getting my first taste in Auckland, a deeper dive in Birmingham (UK), and are now the Secretary of SPOKES here in Ōtepoti Dunedin.

I’m also an expert in online community (and the relevant software platforms), and a Specialist Anaesthetist working primarily in private healthcare. I have an interest in the governance of not for profit organisations and love to see them thriving.

I’d like to see Ōtepoti Dunedin (and the rest of Aotearoa New Zealand) embrace cycling at all ages, and for our roads to become a safe and enjoyable conduit for all kinds of transport - especially those that improve people’s health and wellbeing.
