Vintage Bicycle Ride to Port Chalmers

I’m helping to organise a vintage bicycle ride to Port Chalmers in a few weeks.
It will be a good chance to dig out your vintage bicycle/s and enjoy the recently-finished shared path. Vintage outfits are also a plus!

Here are the details:

Meet up: 10am, Sunday 26 May
Leith footbridge, at the end of Magnet Street

We’ll be finishing the ride at Careys Bay Hotel around lunchtime.

  • vintage clothing sale Maori Hill community centre 25th May 10-2. Nothing to do with me, but might be a good place to get a costume! https://www.facebook.com/events/1089185192406297/
  • Dunedin Collegiate Orchestra are playing a concert at Otago Museum on 26th at 3pm in the Hutton Theatre. People turning up on bikes in vintage costume would be most welcome! We’re playing Pirates of the Caribbean, Mozart Horn Concerto and Dvorak Symphony no5. I’ll share a poster when I have one!
