Urbanerds with Skye Duncan

Join us on the 24th of March for the next Urbanerds session. Skye Duncan, Executive Director of the Global Designing Cities Initiative behind the award-winning Global Street Design Guide, will be our speaker. Some of you might have already met Skye at one of our sessions.

In this session she will speak briefly about her international work at the Global Designing Cities Initiative, and touch on the idea of collecting different voices and perspectives from across the city to co-develop a shared vision of what’s possible for Dunedin in 100 years from now.

Come ready to share your dream ideas about what’s possible in Ōtepoti Dunedin during a small interactive workshop following the presentation.

This was brilliant! And well organised (as always!). Skye has done some impressive city design and change (for the better) around the world, and I really enjoyed her applying her keen eye to little old Dunedin.

Pretty much every suggestion she made was top notch; I’m delighted to hear that she will be pitching it to the Dunedin councillors shortly.

It was so good, eh! I was still buzzing when I got home last night. Loved the energy in the room. Everyone keen to dream big which is amazing to see! :heart_eyes:and Skye is just a super star. We are so lucky to have her here in Dunedin.
