About Patrick Reynolds

Patrick is an passionate and experienced photographer of architecture, is based in Auckland and is actually here for his booklaunch:

Beyond his photography career Patrick is actively involved in advocacy to improve our cities and the broader environment, helping to shape debates about our future. This has led to governance roles in related public sector bodies including four years on the Waka Kotahi/NZTA board, Auckland Transport board and Big Street Bikers/Locky Dock advisory board. For more than a decade Patrick has served on a variety of boards and panels guiding and advising on visual art, transport, and urban form.

Currently he is a member of the Auckland City Centre Advisory Panel (improving public places and events in the city), a director of advocacy groups Greater Auckland and Urban Auckland. Greater Auckland is s a not-for-profit civil society and policy analysis group that has become the leading public resource for understanding Auckland’s and other NZ cities’ urban form and transport possibilities
