Join us for this edition of Urbanerds for an engaging kōrero with Aaron about local planning, community-led change, and how we can respond to the growing housing challenges facing our city. And hopefully he is also keen to talk bikes and George Street.
Aaron describes himself as a “recovering" elected member and resource management commissioner, having spent nine years on the Dunedin City Council, including three years as Mayor.
These days, he wears many hats: co-founder of Floruit, an ecotourism social enterprise; Director at Inspiring Communities, a nonprofit strengthening Aotearoa’s community sector; and Strategy Lead for the Otago Housing Alliance, a collective working to improve housing equity across Otago through a combination of advocacy, research and innovation.
It will be next Wednesday 12 November, 7PM at Moons
