Urbanerds - talk urbanism at a bar with special guest Dr. Stuart Donovan

I’m setting up an urbanerds - basically a catchup at a bar to talk urbanism. Next Wednesday at 7pm at WOOF.

The reason; Stu is coming to town next week. Dr. Stuart Donovan is a Senior Fellow at Motu Economic and Public Policy Research and has two decades of experience working in Australia and New Zealand in spatial, urban, and transport economics; multi-modal transport planning; and land use policy.

And is keen to meet the urbanist community here in Dunedin. I hope you can join me. Please let me know if you are keen, so we have an idea how many people will show up.

And if you know of any people that are keen to join, please forward this message.
Would be great to see some people from Spokes Dunedin there.

I am so sorry but we won;t be able to make it tonight - our dog has just been operated on and these last days have been stressful - we are able to pick him up now and need to stay at home with him.

Thanks to everyone who joined us from Spokes! It was wonderful to see so many passionate urbanists in one place, sharing ideas and insights about cities, spatial economics, transport planning, and land use policy and it was great to have Stuart there to share his expertise and engaging discussion. I personally met some great people and got some great tips.
