We’d love your thoughts on the constitution beforehand please, as there will be only a brief bit of time available for meaty discussion within the AGM (please put this on the dedicated constitution topic).

My apologies for the AGM - I’m off work as our daughter is getting Admitted to the Bar. It’ll be a big event :star_struck:

@committee - I’m afraid that I’m stuck at work and unable to attend the AGM. I’m highly unlikely to be able to attend before 1900.

Someone else will need to step up and act as secretary. All relevant documentation is linked to in this thread, and the ‘old’ constitution is still in effect until the new one is lodged (assuming it is approved).

National Elections this year, and byelection.

@Robyn proposed we accept, @bobthecoder Seconded. Passed.

Change bank? (Westpac is limiting, but changing bank is time consuming)
Term deposit? Better to spend on campaigns. Flyers. This is a whole meeting in itself. Put it on the agenda for May meeting.

@bobthecoder proposed that we accept it @heike Seconded. Passed.

  1. Confirmation of our New Constitution

@bobthecoder suggested we add “to do any other lawful acts that are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above purposes.” to the purpose. Accepted by all.

@Robyn Suggested we add to 13.2 “…of at least 25% of paid members.” to avoid hostile takeover.

@Robyn Asked what the quorum should and we agreed at least 25% or 4 committee members. The was accepted.

@Robyn moved to accept, @david seconded. Accepted unanimously.
