As you may be aware, skippers bridge is closed as considered structurally unsafe. It potentially could be closed to vehicle traffic, but allowed for cycle traffic or pedestrian. Apparently QLDC will consdier its future as an item on the agenda in the next annual plan meeting. There may be a risk they decide to demolish it. As have no funding to fix it. If used for cycles new cables and a new lighter deck could be put in place perhaps. Funding would still be needed, perhaps this could be raised with someone from the trails trust, or I could take it up. Thanks Dan
