It would also be amazing if people could post any thoughts on issues we should be looking at on the ride: any danger spots, pet potholes, quick fixes or bigger issues needing discussion. Thanks!

Suggest we plan to stop on the paved area outside the gardens gates to have a chat aboutt the various concerns with getting through it safely on a bike.
My other main concern is way up at Norwood and maybe outside the scope of a commuter route analysis.
Minor issues with the lack of space to properly separate cycling from the door zone (especially for wider cycles like hand cycles and trikes) and the way drivers pop into the cycle lane to pass vehicles waiting to turn right.
Great idea, Robyn. Yes, let’s have an orientation stop outside the Botanic Gardens gate. I suppose we could expect to be there around 17:45ish, if anyone wants to meet us there instead of starting at the railway station.
Thanks for highlighting cars using the cycle lane too - this is a massive issue. I’m not sure what can be done about it though; maybe hit sticks?
