Even though there is a really good bus connection from Green Island / Abbotsford and only a 15/20 minute bus ride to the city, 80% seems to choose to drive.
Unfortunately the bus does go only once every 30 minutes which might deter some people.
And although cycling to the city is only 25 minutes, there is no safe biking connection.
And obviously the motorway makes it very easy to drive in, especially if there is cheap parking in the city.
