The Dunedin Tweed Ride 2024 is scheduled for 10am this Sunday 20 October!
Don your finest tweeds or best spring frock and join us for our annual vintage ride.
This year, we’ll be meeting up at Dunedin Railway Station. From there, we’ll follow the recently-opened pathway to the Water of Leith foot bridge, join on to the West Harbour path, and on to Port Chalmers.
We’ll finish up at Careys Bay Hotel for lunch. Devonshire teas will also be available, from staff dressed in period costume, no less!
After the ride, the recently-redeveloped Port Chalmers Maritime Museum will be open from 1pm.
The route is approximately 12km, mostly flat and almost entirely separated from traffic.
Vintage bicycles and attire are encouraged.
$5 per rider.
All funds raised go towards the Dunedin Gasworks Museum.
