I love this! An independent consultant lays down the facts that we are in actual fact oversupplied with car parking in Dunedin, and that the expectations of Dunedinites on this front are simply bizarre. Then the commander-in-chief of the noisy “Cars Rule” brigade spits his dummy and walks.

Wow, Vandervis really does seem to be against everything doesn’t he? The only biking proposal I’ve heard him supporting is rerouting the SH1 bike paths away from the one way system nd down Leith Street I think.
