A volunteer working bee to put in some natives plants along the 1st section of the Coastal Connection
On the 16th of August a planting day is being organised. About 2,000 more native plants will be planted along the Coastal Connection trail. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a regular volunteer or keen to get involved for the first time. Bring your lunch, a spade and gardening gloves if you can.
At 10am on Sunday 16th August meet at the top of the Coastal Connection cycle trail. It takes an hour and a bit to walk up or 20 minutes to cycle up from the bottom at the end of Chelivode St or you can drive to the northern end of Mopanui Rd, first road left to the east of the Ecosanctuary Visitor Centre.
