# Dunedin among "most scenic" bike rides in the world

[This recent article](https://momentummag.com/the-worlds-most-scenic-bike-paths/) lists Otago Central Rail Trail along with the Danube Bike Path, France’s Loire à Vélo, Canada’s Banff Legacy Trail, Japan’s Shimanami Kaido cycle trail. However strangely the article’s feature image is of the distinctive [Te Aka Ōtākou (Port-to-Port cycleway)](https://www.dunedincycleway.co.nz/), which isn’t even mentioned in the article. Oh well, all good publicity for Ōtepoti’s cylce trails and hopefully brings more bike tourists to the city.

Yes the feature picture is Te Aka Otakou and it is not mentioned in the article - shows people are noticing though. Having the Otago Central Rail Trail is great though. Promoting Te Aka Otakau more would bring its profile up !!
